The demise of #100BloggingDays

So, much like I assumed labour would be a walk in the park, I also naively thought blogging every day for 100 days would be easy to. I was wrong.

I have NO IDEA how I thought that this would be possible. There are so many bloggers for whom this would most likely be exceptionally simple. They would manage it with ease. I am apparently not one of those folk.

I managed a pathetic 9 days. NINE DAYS!

In my defence, I had an awful week. Everyone was poorly, tired and miserable. I was massively sleep deprived. That I was able to keep at it at all while everything was so rubbish amazes me! But it got to Friday, which was day 10, and I crashed and burnt. I had extreme bloggers block, couldn't think of anything to write about, and was so exhausted that I didn't even care. And I have had a busy old weekend so haven't been able to get to my laptop properly till now.

I was debating about whether to just do a day 10, 11 and 12 post. But to be honest, I cannot be bothered. I would rather just admit that I am a massive enthusiasm lacking #100BloggingDays challenge failure.
I don't want blogging to become a chore, I love it so much.

Which is why I am binning off my #100BloggingDays.

Here is Betsy with a jug on her head. To help ease the devastation you will no doubt be feeling.

  1. Bless you. 9 days is better than nothing. Its hard to constantly think of new stuff. Better just when the blogging ideas take you by surprise :) Pics made me smile x

  3. I'm just glad you are ok! I had noticed you hadn't posted for a few days and I knew you were having a tough time, I thought you might have the lurgy too. I could never blog for 100 days in a row- I think you were brave for trying and you should not beat yourself up. I hope you keep on blogging - I like reading your posts. On a lighter note - I have that jug too!

    1. Ah bless you, thank you. I am ok, and will definitely continue blogging! Maybe if things hadn't of been so rubbish at home I may have been able to keep at it, or at least last longer then 9 days! We shall never know. Thank you for commenting xxxx
